I bought this lighter from a street hawker outside Marble Mountain, north of Hoi An in Vietnam in 2005. I bought it because it was just plain odd, and cost next to nothing. The inscription at the bottom says ‘Anxiety Peace We’.

From this morning's Metro, in case you don't read it, the story of commemorative plaques being found on benches all over the country dedicated to relatives of Croy Devenish-Phibbs, a 103-year-old silver surfer.
Plaques include messages such as 'Barbara Devenish-Phibbs' dying wish was that we got a bench [...]
The day’s not over yet but I think this’ll be the weirdest thing anyone emailed me all day.
