My brother and I did this as kids and laughed until we cried...so we created an app for it! It’s called Sleevefacer and you can find it here: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/sleevefacer/id471522760?mt=8Choose some album art, line it up and snap a photo...it’s easy, fun and very addicting. Check out some examples in the gallery at www.sleevefacer.com

Consider also the opportunity to pass your virtual relationships into physical. I'm not talking about what is coming to your mind right now. I am talking about a contact in the virtual world that can become a good relationship in the real world (who knows if through a calçotada). In a way, social networks can bring new friends and even make you forget (finally) some old friends.

By the way, I agree with Dr. Thropplenoggin. You must be working, at least, at The Guardian. Will be more funny than now (The Guardian, I mean)

I agree that social networks give voice to the most disadvantaged if that is through representatives and campaign organisations - and the power of social networks to spread messages and drive campaigns is undeniable.

Regarding good friends, I absolutely agree - they must be cared for and supported; I personally need to do much more of that offline. And with respect to friends found through social networks, I think the fundamental nature of those relationships is different to friendships established the 'old fashioned' way until physical connections are made back in the 'real' world - but I'm no less open to making those connections, and have made some very exciting connections that way.

"Before Facebook, you’d see a successful couple you knew, smile and chat, part company for months and then have a good laugh about how ugly their baby was. Now, their ugly baby is their Facebook profile picture and you’re reading about how bloody happy they are every week."

Yes it's quite weird. But you must understand that in Social Networks are people. And that mean business for profit companies. More people means more profit. That's why companies try to mix products, messages, adverts and brands with conversations about breast feeding and lunch.

Fortunately, Social Networks give voice to the most disadvantaged and amplify messages that the most powerful would prevent to spread. And give the chance, for people like me, to reply your thoughts expressed in this blog.

And concerning friends, I do not think this is as different as in real life. Good friends have to be cared for and supported. Give without expecting anything in return and receive without asking. You must spend time with friends to maintain the friendship. The only difference is that social networked friends can not be touched (and even sometimes you can not see them), but it's a way to avoid discrimination against people by their appearance or by their smell (option which is often lacking in the physical world).

I often wonder who decides the importance of the news appearing in the mass media. And what criteria they choose some and not others. And, depending on what sites, why not talk about one thing or another.

In a world full of iTech shops, abundance of food and luxuries of all sorts, news about human equality and survival, appear to be misplaced. Perhaps that is why one of the first reactions to the loss of purchasing power by the crisis, has been cutting aid funds (which have never been too big).

Calçots with romesco sauce? Lovely
