I like to think of myself as being fairly young and with it, whatever that is, but yet again I revealed my age the other day. Talking with friends, I revealed how I had got in touch with someone, to discuss something, except this was a few years ago. Just a few years ago. Nevertheless I found myself saying ‘never mind Facebook, we didn’t have email back then’.

Time to 1) reflect on the blistering pace of change in the way we communicate, 2) get out my pipe and slippers.
